Rebeca Rivera is a dedicated law enforcement professional with over 13 years of experience, demonstrating a strong commitment to service, leadership, and community engagement. Raised in a family that emphasized the values of hard work and perseverance, she found her passion for law enforcement at the age of 13, inspired by a Latina officer. This inspiration led her to join the Law Enforcement Explorer program, where she spent five formative years honing her leadership abilities and deepening her dedication to public service.
After taking time off to raise her children, Rivera returned to law enforcement at 34, determined to show her family that it is never too late to pursue one’s dreams. Throughout her career, she has successfully balanced the demands of law enforcement with her responsibilities as a mother, wife, and caregiver.
In addition to her work as an officer, Rivera dedicated 12 years as an Explorer Advisor, mentoring countless young individuals and imparting the values of resilience, leadership, and service. A proud mother of four officers, she has fostered a family legacy of public service. Rivera believes in the transformative power of perseverance and is passionate about inspiring others to overcome obstacles and pursue their dreams.
