Julie Rodriguez was born and raised in Chicago. She is the second eldest of five kids. She attended Chicago Public Schools for her elementary education and attended a suburban high school where she was able to graduate as a junior. She attended a small secretarial school for what would have been her senior year and then entered the workforce as an assistant in an insurance company.
In 2008, Julie began working for the federal government in various positions until she landed a job as an investigator. It was then that her path was paved to become a special agent. However, Julie had to pursue an undergraduate degree first. She returned to school and obtained an associate’s in criminal justice from Moraine Valley Community College, bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Roosevelt University, and a master’s of public administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield.
Julie received the biggest promotion of her career in 2019 when she was hired as a special agent for a federal agency. In her short time as a special agent, she has received numerous awards and recognitions.
Julie truly enjoys her work, which is reflected in her case outcomes. She still lives in Chicago with her son, Aden. She enjoys working out, the outdoors, theater, cooking, DIY, and spending time with loved ones.
